Product Overview

The program copies the messages and contacts from Thunderbird to Outlook, and well as creating and configuring IMAP/POP3 accounts. This is the easiest and quickest way to switch from using Thunderbird to using Outlook. All that you have to do after exporting the data is to type in the passwords for your mail accounts.

If for any reason you decided to start using Outlook instead of Thunderbird, you no longer have to read long user manuals detailing how to do it. You don’t have to research where and in what format the data is stored in each program, or how to export the data to an intermediate format with future conversion to a different format. You don't have to convert and import messages and contacts to Outlook. You don’t have to create accounts in Outlook. Export Tool will do it all for you.

As well as contacts, the program also exports mailing lists, which are an important feature of address books.

As well as using Export Tool for migrating from Thunderbird to Outlook, you can export one or several MBOX files to a single or multiple PST files (for example, for transferring the data to a different computer or creating backup copies).

Main features

Message export from Thunderbird to Outlook

The messages are exported to PST files, preserving the entire formatting. You can select whether to generate a PST file for each Thunderbird mail account or to create a single PST file for all accounts.

Contact export from Thunderbird to Outlook

The contacts are exported preserving all the fields. If you are using several address books, the contacts from all the books will be exported to a PST file. Only the local address books are supported.

Copying of the contact lists

Contact lists are also copied to a PST file, you won’t have to create them from scratch.

Copying the IMAP/POP3 account settings

The Thunderbird account settings can be transferred to Outlook, including the settings of inbox (IMAP/POP) and outbox (SMTP) servers.

Preserving the folder tree

When copying messages from Thunderbird folders to a PST file, the folder tree is preserved.

Single, Bulk and Selective migration

You can export each Thunderbird account (or even selected folders from that account) to separate PST files, as well as exporting all of the accounts at once to a single PST file.

Thunderbird profile support

If you are using several Thunderbird profiles, they can all be exported to Outlook.

Thunderbird Portable support

If you are using the Portable version of Thunderbird, it is not a problem. The data can still be exported to Outlook.

How It works?

The size of the files is only limited by the maximum size of MBOX files in Thunderbird and PST files in Outlook.

You can export just one, as well as several, or all accounts at once.

The demo version allows you to save the first 25 messages from each folder and the first 25 contacts from each address book. Also, the demo version does not allow you to transfer the account setting to Outlook. The full version does not have these limitations.

Yes, an installed Outlook program is a requirement.
